What can I personalize?

Below is a sample of the data points you have at your disposal with Reveal for Personalization. When someone visits your website, Reveal checks their IP address in real-time and returns company information if we can match it. It's up to you what to do with that data, but we've included some suggestions to get you started.

How easy is it to get started?

By starting simple, you can implement your first campaign in 2 - 3 hours. The Clearbit team can also help you with your first personalization – just get in touch with your Customer Success Manager.

1. Install Reveal

Add the Reveal JavaScript snippet to your website. This only takes a few minutes and will start identifying visitors based on their IPs immediately.

2. Establish Audiences

Decide on the audiences you will personalize an experience for. We recommend starting with just one, your Ideal Customer Profile.

3. Choose Experiment

Decide on something simple to personalize for your audience. For example, only showing a "Talk to Sales" CTA to valuable visitors.

4. Launch Experiment

Implement the personalization using a tool such as Google Optimize (free), Optimizely or VWO in approximately 30 - 60 minutes.

Who should I personalize for?

It can be difficult to know who to start personalizing for. We recommend beginning with the attributes of your ideal customer as you already know they are a valuable audience.
